Each semester High Sierra, as a program, accepts risks by hiring undergraduate students to drive their peers in fifteen passenger vans. These vehicles are known to have high rollover rates and are the only transportation available to High Sierra students. Recognizing the liability involved in utilizing these vehicles I created this workshop for student drivers. This workshop includes lecture, discussion, and behind the wheel mountain driving practice all designed to help minimize risk and prepare drivers for some of the unique challenges posed by driving in the mountains.

Virtually any student affairs position will inevitably include assessment and research at some point. I desire to offer students the same care and respect while researching and interviewing that I would offer in counseling or through programming events. Therefore, I completed this two hour online training session entitled, "Human Participant Protections Education for Research Teams."
